Nature Gatherings
A small scared gathering for women who crave intentional communion with the forces of nature as tools for emotional regulation, intuitive guidance, and creative inspiration.
Through these experiences, we:
Remember nature as a source of comfort and strength during challenging times (and expansive ones!) and connect to Earth for
our own healingDeepen our sensory awareness and skill at being present
Reawaken our creativity, childlike play and sense of wonder
Learn to trust nature, so that we can trust ourselves and other humans again
Allow nature to re-inspire our sense of awe at the human experience
Enjoy the company of other women who are equally drawn to a soul-focused life
Upcoming Gatherings
-
Gift yourself a slow morning by the ocean - a space to step away from the noise of everyday life, breathe in the salt air, and reconnect with yourself, the Earth, and a small circle of women.
We'll gather on a quiet stretch of beach in Pescadero for gentle movement, reflective journaling, deep rest, and the shared creation of an Earth Spiral - a nature altar we'll make together as an offering of gratitude to ourselves and the land.
At the heart of our gathering is Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," a guided practice experienced lying down, fully supported. There are no yoga poses or movement, just an invitation to settle in and rest. Unlike sleep, you stay softly aware. Unlike traditional meditation, there is nothing to focus on or do correctly. You are simply guided through breath, sensation and stillness until your body remembers how to rest on its own. Many women say it's the most rested they have ever felt.
Around the practice, we'll move gently to settle in and spend time in reflective journaling, with space to slow down, notice what is present, and simply be.
Together, we'll create a shared Earth Spiral using flowers and found natural elements from the beach. The spiral is an ancient symbol found in nature and across many spiritual traditions, often representing the cycles of life, transformation, and our connection to something larger than ourselves.
In earth-based traditions, creating with natural elements can be an act of reciprocity - a way of honoring ourselves, the land, and our relationship with the natural world. Each woman will add something of her own to the spiral, creating one offering together. We'll leave it with the beach and the ocean, allowing wind, water and time to return it to the landscape from which it came.
We'll close our time together over a custom-blended tea from Thistle & Tonic and some light snacks, a warm, simple way to come back together, share, and linger for a bit before heading home.
No prior experience with Yoga Nidra or meditation is needed. Only a willingness to slow down and receive.
